Sino-Finnish Elderly Care Forum and Pilot Ceremony, 6 November Wuhan:
Active Ageing cooperation Pilot in Wuhan goes live.
Active Ageing is a Sino-Finnish initiative launched at World Expo 2010 in Shanghai and then driven from Finnish side by Aalto & Active Life Village.
Wuhan University as the original partner has rapidly set up a consortium with partners active in joint development of the elderly services aiming at commercial scaling, with the Wuxin Ltd as the China side partner for Active Life Village. Also the Eastlake Park, one of the leading science and technology parks in China, and the Hubei provincial government, including involvement of the Vice-Governor level, have recognized the potential of this cooperation.
The event was co-organized by ICT Alliance / TIVIT, Aalto and Active Life Village at the Finnish side (Matti Hämäläinen as the program organizer) and Wuhan University and Wuxin Ltd as the local host (Mr. Huang, CEO).
