4th International Workshop of ICT Alliance in Xi’an, April 2012

The 4th International Workshop was organized to review the progress of current projects ending 2012 December, and to start planning joint themes for the next phase of the ICT Alliance.
The first day was for the Workshops in each three areas: Future Wireless Access, Future Networks and Future Services.
The results from the On-going Cooperation Projects include:
- Over 150 scientific papers
- 70 international standards proposals (some already accepted)
- 70 technical patents
- Several testbeds, joint tools as well as introduction of the concepts of Living Labs and campus based innovation
- Tens of academic exchanges and over hundred researchers involved in the projects and workshops.
These projects involving joint work and exchanges have laid a solid foundation for a broader and deeper collaboration between China and Finland in ICT and digital services field.
